my uncle has an iphone 2g that he accidently locked by putting in the wrong code. what his problem is, is that the phone is telling him to wait 4,528,486 minutes to try again, which is equal to about 8 years, lol. I laughed at him and told him that I would post it up on the macrumor forum and see what people say. so any help on what i can do?

haha that is about 8 years and 7 months? Try Hooking it up to your computer, if that doesn't work call apple or your network provider.

i just tried that and iTunes said that i have to enter the passcode first to be able to access it on itunes. And also, we are in mexico visiting my grandmother, so calling apple will be too expensive, so i guess i can only email them.

He's going to have to wait until he gets home. It only unlocks when you hook it up to the last computer it synced with.
