Undecided whether to upgrade to new 13" MBA

I currently have a 2010 lower model 13" MBA. I"m a PhD student of psychology and usually have several word windows open/SPSS (stats programs) at once. Would I see a major difference for my needs?

nope, i remember reading a dealnews article about the air, and whether or not you should upgrade, hole on let me find it:

the basic jist is, you should really think twice before buying the new air. i really don't think you need it for your purpose [as you really would not notice a speed boost or anything], but it depends on what else you plan on doing.

well the point of the 11" article was just to show you that it really isn't worth upgrading it just now. but since you have requested a 13" MBA one,

it's not the low end models, but it just comparing the two Air's [including both models ].
