Undeleting

Hello,
A document has been deleted and the trash emptied! Is it possible to recover a document? This document was deleted yesterday!

Unlikely if you've been using the mac, but take a look at Data Rescue 2

Data recovery

We will try it out. I used a similar program to scan a crashed HD. For this task I guess we scan the main HD and then select TRASH? It will find EVERYTHIN - even emptoed trash - if it exists?

There's a specific command in Disk Utility that will attempt to recover deleted data. It's definitely worth a shot.
