Under what keys is the CD drive located?

I have a 2011 mbp 17 inch. When I move the computer left to right when it is off, there is a clicking noise coming from the right side of the computer. I would like to know under what keys the CD drive is located so I can see if that is what is making the noise.

If it always makes this noise, its likely a fan. If it only makes the noise when there's a disc in it, then its the optical drive.

I would say F8 till CMD, but could it be the Sudden Motion Sensor you are hearing?

Could be the SMS of the hard drive causing that sound too

Yep, as others have said, it's most likely the sudden motion sensor of the HDD. I've heard it a few times when moving it around.
