Is anyone else??

Seriously....this would be cool if the zoom in and out worked on anything but iphoto or safari. Even on those two applications is doesn't look smooth....I think it was just thrown in there to sucker us into upgrading :)

Anyone else feel the same way? Is there just some software patch I'm missing so I can zoom in and out with office for mac or CS3?

Multitouch is useless; you can only use it for Apple made stuff; you can't even use it in Aperture!

until everyones writing software intended for multitouch, it remains purely a gimick on computers

but it is good if you use iphoto.

It's about a million times more impressive on an iphone/touch though

this actually comes as good news to me.

one of the reasons i was thinking of waiting for a macbook revision was because i wanted multi-touch (stupid as that sounds). the modest processor upgrades and X4500 didn't really appeal to me; i'm not going to be trying to play COD4 on it or anything.

I personally love being able to page forward and back in safari....
