That looks pretty bad. I would take it in for a repair.

Also, please change the tags around your image to TIMG . The image is enormous!

From the pic it looks more like dirt/debris stuck in those holes. In any case I would take it back to apple store for exchange/return. Cheers

sorry about the image size, how do I change it...

Looks like the moderator has fixed it for you :)

When you look at the holes head-on (from the top), does it look like it's still filled in? I just noticed that there's a few filled in holes on my left speaker grill when I look at it at an angle, but not when I look at it head on.

I just got it for less than 48 hours and used for less than 2 hours totals on a clean surface, really upset now, there are also defects on the right side.

going to an apple store now:mad:

when you look from top, most of the holes look normal but some are not

Strange.

Are those actually holes that haven't been fully drilled through?

Or maybe at that weird angle you're just seeing the structural support for the I/O ports on that side of the machine underneath the case?

Sorry I don't have a super high resolution camera to show, but if you look closely, you can see the aluminium metal scrapes in the holes, and on the right side, there is also another 30holes x 20holes area has the same problem.

they are probably fully drilled, but just got stuff stuck in them.. They are super tiny... and are actually "drilled" with a laser. Its very easy for them to get clogged up.
