So, I made the switch from 9.7" to 12.9." Too early to tell if it was worth it, but since it was a free "upgrade" (Craigslist), I'm pretty excited.

But! I noticed some pretty severe spotlighting on the right side, as soon as I turned on the device. I'll attach some photos. It's not totally noticeable (it is a little) from head-on, but from a "below" angle, it's pretty severe. Is this normal? I do use it from moderately "weird" angles when taking notes, but if this is just how backlighting works, I won't bother with a return.

Thanks!

Hopefully you get a good one this time.

Finally got it back... perfect. They told me they hadn't seen an issue like that before, but they sent it to a different location that normal to be sure it wasn't a batch-wide issue. Anyway... I'm happy!

I'm glad it worked out for you.
