hey,
i just bought a new retina macbook pro 13" from the online store. im very pleased with it, however there are 2 things that are bothering me, at least I'm wondering whether this is normal or not:
the macbook case seems to have a slightly uneven stand from time to time. the left hand corner does bump up and down a bit when I put my hand on the device. however this doesnt seem to be a permanent issue, because when I pick up the whole thing, grab 2 edges and make a slight bending gesture, it seems to even out. yet when I'm taking it with me and place it on a table some time later, its back to the uneven state. is that a common thing with those new thin devices?
also I noted that if I put just a little bit of pressure to the back of the top left corcner of my macboook, there is some kind of clicking sound coming from the inside in that area. now I dont wanna open the casing just to check whats going on in there, this is just something I didnt experience with my previous macbooks. maybe something isnt glued that well? or could this be a thing that every new 13" retina has, because of the layouts of the hardware components?
the uneven stand definitely is more annoying though. after all, you do want a perfect experience for the price, right?
worst case scenario, does apple do replacements in their stores, even if you bought it online?
would love some insight, thanks
