Uneven Illumination in 30" ACD

In my new (1-month) 30" ACD, the lower left corner is fairly bright, especially when it's supposed to be black (like watching a DVD or movie that's in letterbox). Any ideas on what I can do about it? What would happen if I took it back to the Apple Store?
