Hello to everybody!:)

Whenever I try to open the "calendar" application, the application closes immediately and does not allow me to log in at all. The problem occurred both on macos 11 and now on macos 12.

Error message: Unexpected closure of the Calendar To open the application again, click Reopen. To view detailed information and send a report to Apple, click Report.

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) 4 GHz Intel Core i7 quad-core 8GB 1867MHz DDR3 The application works correctly on other devices. Can anyone have an idea on how to fix the problem?

What other devices, and their OS version, is it working on? With the same accounts?

It sounds like you updated your Big Sur installation to Monterey (not a clean install). This likely didn't get rid of whatever corruption is causing the crash. The corruption is likely a preference file or the database of your events.

If you don't have any events stored in a calendar "On My Mac" you could try turning off your calendar(s) syncing, deleting the calendar data files and then turning syncing back on.

Great, thanks! It was enough for me to remove the sync and reactivate it and now the app works correctly. Thank you for your time!:))
