Unibody 15" w/Speck Case

If anyone owns one of these let me know, I got a question.
I bought one, installed it, but not sure if mine is faulty.
The rear end of the top lid... seems to be kinda loose...
if loose is the word to use. maybe I can use the word floppy.

Anyways, let me know. Thanks so I can call warranty or return
it to apple. Thanks!

I had the clear one on my unibody and it fit very snugly. The little clips should be in place all around the top part of the case, also you start from the back with the laptop closed. I just returned mine today because it arrived with a small crack on the bottom piece and when I installed it after using my mbpro for a few weeks I did notice the added weight and bulk. I had the invisible shield on my last mbpro and I think I'll be using one of those on my new one also.

I don't have any problems with the rear but on the top front lid in the middle its slightly loose just because it doesnt have the claps. nothing to worry about.

strange, cause my front has a small clip but not the rear.
just worries cause i dont want stuff to get under there and start rubbing against it to manifest scratches.

As you can see i'm able to lift it....

As you can see i'm also able to push down on it...

and Ouch. it came like that. gonna try to get a replacement.

mine is like that on the front top, i have the clear version, its not that bad

I have the black satin speck one for my macbook and mine doesn't have any issues. That doesn't look right at all.

It could be the case is bent? Or this one is made a bit loosely than others..It's a possibility.

I have the same case and mine fits very snug, no play at all, I would give speck a email see if they can send you a new top. that would drive me insane!
I posted a few pics of mine in a different thread, case is tight top and bottom.
