Hi Everyone,
As you can see in the title, i recently started experiencing issues with the screen on my Macbook. I purchased it on the day of release in 2008 and so far it has been an incredible computer. Whenever I move the screen, some parts of the screen itself will turn white or become color banded, to the point where it becomes unseeable. I woke up the computer from a closed sleep today, and the entire screen was like that, I had to reboot it twice to return it back to normal. I almost think it's a hardware issue as it's directly connected to when I move the screen on the hinge. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

try connecting to an external monitor and try to reproduce the issue, will help pinpoint where the problem is

Ok great thank you guys, I'll plug it into my screen at home to see the issue. If it is a bad connection, how much would it cost to repair?
