Hi, I have a macbook pro 15 inch unibody with the removable battery. my battery cover got dent because it is so thin. i've had problems with it since the beginning (refurbished) because it has always wobbled a bit. it is very bent and warped at this point, so i want to get it replaced.

i called apple tech, and i'm under the impression they will fix it but they want me to send in the whole laptop. it may take 7-10 business days.

i think this is a waste of time for me as well as apple, since the laptop is fully functionally and all i need is a battery cover.

is there a way to buy a battery cover via third party? i was thinking about calling customer relations, but i don't know what to do.

i am sorry to whine, but i really can't live without my laptop for 7-10 business days :(
