I've found conflicting data on whether or not a 12.5 mm HDD will fit into the Late 2008 Aluminum Unibody MacBook. I've gotten a 1 TB Samsung Spinpoint drive for Christmas and I'm trying to make sure it will actually fit before I try to do it actually.

I'm hoping that because it's easily accessible along with the Battery, that it will have 3mm of more space to accommodate it.

Anyone know for a fact if it will or won't work?

I actually just measured the battery in my Macbook and it's .49 inches (12.446 mm) at it's highest point....looks like it may be possible but will be tight.

Nobody's upgraded to a 12.5 mm drive in their 13" Macbook Unibody?
