I have my 60 watt power adapter for my macbook (before they put the "pro" designation on it). I recently acquired a 65 watt adapter...will this work on my macbook and not fry it? The output is 16.5 - 18V whereas on the 60W it is only 16.5. Therefore, I think it should. But any feedback is appreciated. See sig for full specs.

Thanks!

Yes, it should work. My sister has used my 85W power adapter on her 13" MacBook Pro and I've used the 45W power adapter from the MacBook Air on my MacBook Pro before.

Oops, I just noticed the model number and found out it is 85W. This is still okay I guess for the macbook, then?

Yes it is fine. It will draw only the current it needs. I was using one of those for a long time, without any issues, but I traded it with a family member for a new 60w charger with the aluminum plug. Also, when run on a MacBook, the 85w adapters run noticeably cooler than the 60w adapters.
