Unibody Macbook Memory

Well, I was going to sell my unibody macbook for a Macbook air, but didn't really get much action or interest about it, and figured might as well keep the little bugger.

My question is about the memory. Is the 4gb upgrade option working better now? I knew there was a problem earlier, but not sure if there is now. Also, does anyone have a brand recommendation.

I have 4GB RAM in my unibody mb and everything works fine, even when I was using most of it with iphoto, imovie, itunes, safari and gimp all open.

4GB problem was way back when the unibody was first introduced and has since been fixed. You should be ok upgrading to 4GB of RAM on your MacBook.

No problems so far with my 2.4.

I have 4GB of OWC RAM for macsales.com and it works great, I upgraded around 3 months ago and absolutely no problems so far.
