In the new MacBook pro unibody does,
, it have a harddrive or sleep led like the older ones?
 
Yes. It's by the IR sensor on the front right corner. You don't see it when it's off though, as it's sitting behind the aluminum. The shell is cut very thin in front of it, so it can shine through, but it blocks the light and appears solid when the LED is off. It's a very cool effect.
 
It's the same process as the Wireless Keyboard - the holes are laser-drilled to incredible smallness. Search the forums, I believe a member took a picture with a microscope - those holes are TINY!
