Hey Guys,
I just ran some benchmarks using Cinebench R10 (Google for download), straight afterwards I jumped into World of Warcraft and had the screen blank out and the system hang.
As the unibodys feel cooler then the previous MBPs i decided to download a CPU Temp util (again just google, heaps around) and rerun the tests.
I found that after the CPU intension tests in Cinebench my CPU had hit 226 F, and the fans were still at low rpm. At this stage they should have been at max.
I am not sure if my MBP is faulty, but if anyone has the chance, download cinebench R10 and run the default tests and setup a CPU Temp util. I am worried that the current MBPs do not control the CPU temps very well so users should be careful running CPU intensice tasks. There is no way the CPU should hit 226 F and the fans be still running on low.
Cheers
M
