Unibody MBP fails to register clicks with trackpad firmware 1.0

My MBP suddenly stopped registering 20% to 70% of the clicks. I've seen the official pre-NY thread about this and the firmware update. But the problem that I'm currently experiencing is with the update installed. That is definitely not a hardware issue as the clicks do get registered 100% when I do a click-select.

Has anyone else had the problem?
