Apparently all three model sizes of the current MBP line are equipped with an Intel HD Audio card. I was under the impression that the 'Pros housed a Realtek card; perhaps that was a previous model.

Aside from being a moderate audiophile, I am not a pro audio nerd (although I'd have no complaints if that were the case). From those of you who have experienced sound from several pieces of audio equipment, how does the Intel HD in the MacBook Pros stack up in quality and performance to other notebook audio cards and sound experiences on other professional products? Does every current Mac use the same Intel HD card, or are their variations accoring to the products (ex. iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, Mini, etc...)?
