how long does it take to load your guys' firefox on the unibody? (before loading it, so youd need to reset your computer and load firefox from FRESH)

for some reason mine takes around EIGHT bounces.. i think somethings wrong.. this is after doing a clean up w/ onyx too. but even before cleanup, its been around 8 bounces... on my white imac, safari takes only 2 bounces from a fresh load up...

WHY.. could this have to do with anything with the graphics drivers?
my HD is half full and i have 2 gb of ram...

this is normal behavior. i have a 7200rpm HDD and 6GB of ram and after a fresh restart and onyx clean up it still takes 4-5 bounces. after that thou it only takes 1. this has always been the case.

Firefox is known to have a slow start. That's one of the scheduled improvements for next major release (3.6 or above).

Google Chrome starts much much faster. Just one single bounce.
