Hi all,
i've been using my late 2008 unibody macbook pro since october without any problems. yet, in the last few weeks i have a problem with my trackpad, i.e. it doesn't react to my clicks. It doesn't matter where i click, in the middle or further down, it reacts only 1-2 times out of 10. So, i activated tip-to-click in the system preferences and the "tip-click" does work, so it seems to be the only way to use my trackpad...
what would you suggest me to do? is it a common problem? could it be a software problem?

thank you,
nonick

It could be unclean underneath. Or broken. Consult an applestore/authorised repair as it looks like you're still under warranty.

hey,
thanks for your reply.
yes, i'm still under warranty but i need my mbp every day, so i'd like to try and repair it by myself before sending it back to apple.
i'm just looking for someone who had the same problem and solved it.
it might as well be because of software, not hardware, right?...
and there's no reason for my trackpad to be unclean or broken since i never use my mbp while eating or something like that.
any other ideas?
