Hi Guys,

I have the latest unibody 15" MBP, 2.4 GHZ & 4G RAM. I'm finding that the temperatures routinely hit about 75C to 85C when using Lightroom on Canon 5D MKII (amazing camera!) RAW files.

This is my first MBP, so I'm wondering if these temperatures are normal.

Thanks for your help!

I hit abotu the same temperatures while running Lightroom on my MacBook. Its perfectly normal because RAW files are very large and requires a lot of processing.

raws do require a lot of processing power. I run it every day. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Do you know the speed of the fans? do you have smcFanControl installed?
