apologies if this has been answered already (couldnt find it)... but do the new unibody MBPs have the Nehalem CPUs already?

If not, any idea / guesses/ rumours to suggest when? end of Q9?

I heard the xserves have been upgraded recently.... are the MBPs next?!!

hmmm....

I just dont want to end up buying something now and realise they upgrade the CPU in the summer!! that would be.... gutting!

I don't think mobile Nehalem processors will be availble from Intel until the end of 2009.

Correct, they won't be available to integrators until end of 2009. So we're talking Christmas '09 at the very very earliest for a Nehalem MBP. More likely it'll be early 2010 before they're released. This assumes intel releases the chip on time.

I wouldn't wait for it. If you need a notebook now, buy one now. Heck, the unibody was barely just released! It'll be a long while before any updates to it.

Clarksfield (quad-core) in Q3 2009, probably won't go in the MacBook Pro.
Arrandale (dual-core) in Q1 2010, most likely choice.

Apple's not likely to put in Mobile Nehalem into their notebook line (99.99% sure of that) until Westmere is released.
