I just checked on newegg today to see whats new. I found out the prices of memory has dropped significantly since the last time I checked...

just a heads up...
Newegg

Crucial

the crucial ram price is a better price. I'm waiting patiently for it to drop to $35. I might be unreasonable, but I'll wait and see.

But I'm willing to be patient and wait until Snow Leopard to come out. Hopefully the iMac and Mac mini will be refreshed so the entire line of Macs (except Mac Pro) and hopefully PCs will be using DDR3 so demand goes up and price will go down

For me, 2gb is good enough, but i will be very careful in running VMware Fusion.

don't forget that MacSales (or OWC) will buy your old ram if you buy from them. it'll probably save you $10 or so, but who else looks for 1gb sticks when 2gb is standard across the Macbook lines.

I suck.. I paid 85dollars last month then the price dropped 10(and macsales did not refund me the difference like they said they would) :(.... and now it has dropped a lot more. I wish I would have waited. Oh well. It will work out great for when my brother buys his macbook in june.... Lucky SOB

I bought it shortly after Crucial's was listed for $53.99. They work perfectly in my Unibody.
