Hi all,

I'm sure there is a simple solution to this problem I have, I just can't find it!

I'm using Pages 08 to write my physiology assignment and there are a couple of special characters that I need... a capital V and a capital Q, both with a dot above. I have tried to use Unicode (U+0307) to get what I need, but I'm not really sure about how it all works. I can manage to get a dot, but it is not high enough, so it is only just visible above the V and not at all visible above the Q. I know that this must be possible as I see it all the time in publications. Surely a Mac can manage this???!!!

Can anyone help?

Bingo! Thanks geoff... d'you know I had tried one or two fonts but had limited it to the ones that are accepted fonts for the assignments... BUT - AppleLeGothic and AppleSymbol work just great, and I guess no one will notice the odd letter being a different font!
Thanks again, I knew there would be a simple answer! :D
