Hi everyone!

I got my new rMBP Late 2013 and as you might know this comes with a free copy of Pages, Numbers and Keynote.

I have an old iWork Version (iWork 08) also, which I now have on my new computer because of the migration assistant.

When I drag the old Keynote etc. to AppCleaner I think AppCleaner gets confused and also wants to delete files which are required for the new Keynote etc.

How can I safely uninstall iWork 08? Simply drag it to the trash?

One option might be, after backing up of course, to uninstall both versions and reinstall the new versions only. First check that the iWork apps (pages, etc.) show up in App Store as purchased or licensed to you, but I'm assuming you would have no trouble downloading them from the App Store again, for free. They should now be licensed to your account as long as you've registered your new mac with apple.
