uninstall Word 2008 (using AppCleaner) without getting rid of Word 2011? 2012

Hi there,
I've used Word 2011 long enough to know that I'm fine with it, and I'd now like to clear Word 2008 from my system.
I can just drag the whole folder out of my Apps folder, and trash it, but I usually use a little app called AppCleaner to get rid of apps and all of their (often hidden or buried) corresponding files. Am I safe to use this, or will this get rid of Word 2011 as well?

You should not use AppCleaner to remove MS Office 2008; you should use the included uninstaller. If you do not use the uninstaller you could have problems.
