Uninstalled Printer Software wants to Update

I have recently uninstalled (and sold) my EPSON printer. I have downloaded and run the EPSON uninstaller package for OS X, and everything seemed to run through fine. Just the other day, I got an App Store update alert to update my EPSON software (see attached screenshot).

How do I actually uninstall or verify that all traces of the software are gone to:

1) prevent the update alerts, and
2) ensure that my computer is secure, and not exposed to threat from out-of-date, uninstalled software such as this.​
