So I'm thinking its probably better to do a fresh install w/ the majority of my software rather than do a migration for large apps like Logic etc. I went through all my discs and none have an "uninstall" option (that I could find). This is my first comp w/ Leopard, what sort of issues are there w/ preferences and passwords etc? If I just dump the specific folder in the application folder is that good enough or do I have to search for other files elsewhere? I wish there was an option on the disc that would get rid of everything. I'm also concerned abo problems w/ passwords going from one comp to another. Do I have to deauthorize the passwords first somehow?

Since Logic is on 8 DVDs I'm thinking this might be a better solution that migrating the entire 100gb of data; then it will just be docs and smaller files. I've got all my discs so why not. Doing a fresh install w/ a program is probably better than just copying it right?
