uninstalling synergy?

so i'm trying to uninstall synergy but it's being quite annoying

ive removed it from the applications menu, deleted all the files, yet cannot for the life of me 1) delete it from my trash and 2) keep itunes from popping up artist names/song title when i'm surfing the web, etc.

does anybody have any suggestions?

Synergy? That sounds like growl to me. Either one, check system preferences, right click and do remove preference pane.

it seems that there is a whole bunch of files in the preference pane

should i delete them all? i dont see a file that specifically has synergy in it
