Unique idea for an App, how do I create it?

That's pretty much the question: I have a unique idea for an App. I would love to write it and put it out there for sale/trade/whatever. Where do I start? I am sure there are many talented people here at MR that have done just that. From your experiences, what would you suggest as the best way for someone to create their very own application?

First and foremost You need to learn objective C or have background of C or C++. Then apply for dev. Program so that you can obtain the SDK and the rights to post your app into iTunes.

Download the SDK and read through the documentation...
