ok so i had an incase that damaged the chrome part of my iphone due to abrasion with some surface scratches. After tons of complaining an apple care product specalist said that my 4gb iphone will be replaced. Now the 4gb iphone is discontinued, should i wait it out until they run out of 4gb iphones so i will get an 8gb?

I think apple keeps older products around for replacement. At least they replace older iPods with the same older model so I would think it would be the same for iPhones.
