unique question iphone 3g update to 4.1

hey guys basically, my iphone 3g is still 3.1.3 with the baseband downgraded to 04.26.08 thanks to fuzzyband, this was last year around september when 3.1.3 was still new and couldnt be unlocked.


i want to upgrade to 4.1 and using the latest UNLOCKABLE FIRMWARE which is 05.13.04, i need to keep the unlock by all means necessary because im not on at&t at all


i was thinking i upgrade to 4.0.2 to get the baseband 05.13.04 and then use tiny umbrella to preserve the baseband and update to 4.1, through redsn0w
i think redsn0w would activate the phone then,

Preservering your baseband with Tiny umbrella only applies to the iPhone 4. You are going to have to wait for pwnage tool so you can create a custom ipsw to restore your iPhone.
