Unison Download Problem

I'm a newsnet noob and I was trying to download some files using Unison, on the file description it says the files are 103mb but Unison stop at 23MB and tells me that the files are complete. Would anybody know what the problem is here?

Either it's split into many parts and you're just getting one or your usenet server doesn't have the whole file.

It's 225 days old. Would that be why? That's the farthest back my server goes I think (Astraweb).

Yes, that's probably why. Retention varies amongst usenet providers.
