I'm new to Usenet and Unison, but think I have most of it down (in terms of understanding).
However, I wanted to know from some of the more seasoned Unison users if any of the following functionality exists within Unison:
- When I'm in a Group looking at posts, say there are 150 posts, all with 1 picture within the body of the post. Say that I look at the first 10 and decide that I want all 150 pictures in the series. Is there any way to download them all without going through every post and dragging each picture to a folder on my computer?
- Also, I like the layout of the Unisom window, but was wondering if there is some way to reconfigure it. I'd love to be able to move the message/post window so that it would be right next to the Newsgroups column (like Macs do with "Column" view) so that the picture within the post would would be able to be displayed on the right in full top-to-bottom view (instead of the current layout where the message list at the top takes up space). I know that I can drag the picture boundary up, thus making the message window smaller, but I'd just rather move the entire message window to the side.
- Lastly, is there any way to find ONLY the posts that have pictures in them? I know that I can click the "Files" button, but that only shows non-picture attachments, and as you know, a majority of the posts in any newsgroup are just text and/or links to a website. It'd be great if there were some way to tell Unison to just display posts that have a .JPEG (or similar) file within the message.
Thanks,
J.
