I can't add or delete servers in unison.

i'm trying to add a new server: news.gigabyte.com

i do this:

Servers: Edit Servers:
"+" :
Description="giganews":
Server Address="news.giganews.com":
port=119:
My username and password.
"OK"

The new server does not appear in the server drop-down list.

If I try to delete an old server, it continues to show in the drop-down list.

please help.
thanks,

i did a brute force solution and edited the preference file for unison in home:library: preferences.

Hi

I'm having the exact same problem.

I tried searching the preferences folder, also the preferences under 'system' but i can't find the unison preference file.

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling but the issue remains and that file can't be found.

Any help at all would be appreciated. :confused:

Thanks

Unison will not add servers

I'm having a problem adding servers in Unison.

This seem to have happened before, was it ever solved?

I just purchased the program and found that it doesn't work.

Unison->Servers->Edit...

The changes are not saved at all. I'm running a MacBook Pro with OSX10.5.6

com.panic.Unison.plist

yes.

quit unison.

delete this file:
/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/com.panic.Unison.plist

start unison.

Plan B:
Uninstall Unison.
Make sure that the file above was removed.
Install Unison.

:D
yes.

quit unison.

delete this file:
/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/com.panic.Unison.plist

start unison.

Plan B:
Uninstall Unison.
Make sure that the file above was removed.
Install Unison.

Thank you so much! I've tried many newsreaders and despite it's quirkiness, I really needed Unison to work.
