I recently purchased a universal dock for my iPhone 4. Kinda sucks that there isn't an adapter for the iP4 with a case, but that's another story...
If I connected the dock to my computer via a 15' USB Female-Male extender, would this diminish data transfer or have any other effect on the dock? I assume that it would work okay, but I remember hearing something once about an optimal length for USB extenders and couldn't recall what it was. Anyone see any problems with this?
