Hello,
I am about to buy a macbook air from the uk store until September, therefore I will be provided with the university gift card. I wanted to ask whether I can only buy apps with this card or if its possible to spend that money on a printer, or other stuff from the apple store.

I really ought to have read the post better
Thought he was only talking about the other stores such as buying music from iTunes as well as being able to buy app.
This entire sentence was invisible to my mind

So yeah, the only place you can use your gift cards are on the stores that I have bolded out.
