Unix apps working in snow leopard

Can anyone confirm the versions of ruby, python and sqlite installed (I'll be doing a clean install) with snow leopard?

Also anyone hear anything about Postgres and MySQL? Leopard had serious issues with both when released that took months to resolve (I had to hack both to get them to run, until fixed).

Also what about MacPorts? Anyone confirm that Port works in Snow Leopard?
