Hey guys, I am a hacker and IOS root programmer, but I am new to these forums. I have a slight problem, and I was wondering if anybody could help me  I jailbroke my iPhone with JailBreakMe on IOS 3.1.2. I want to use bootlace to run Andrioid on my iPhone. The problem is, I didnt use Blackra1n to do the jailbreak. I would preferrably want my hacks back when I rejailbreak. I could just restore, but theres a problem with that to. If i restore, it will bring me to the latese software, witch isnt compatible with android. I dont have it backed up.

pretty sure you need your shsh blobs to restore to a firmware other than the current one

3g you can restore any firmware version you wish.. no SHSH blobs needed.

go here download your firmware

http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

then:
How to restore or update your iPhone

After downloading the firmware. you can shift-click (PC) or option-click (Mac) the Restore or Update buttons in iTunes. A file dialog will open and let you choose the downloaded ipsw-file where it's downloaded from.

The iTunes restore will wipe away any traces of jailbreaking. Restore from backup after you restore in iTunes. You can re-jailbreak with Spirit.

If you are what you claim to be, then you should, without a shadow of a doubt, know how to back up and restore an iPhone. :D

Please just give me a step by step all out extremely specific tutorial on how to do what I said in the first post.
