Hi, I was going through my Notes on Macbook and somehow click on the 'accounts' that led me to the Internet Account section on Settings from which I realized there are 3 other accounts there apart from my icloud account. One of them are unknown to me, and one of them belongs to the IT guy in my ex-employer, it must got there somehow when I used my apple ID for work Mac in the past. I kinda freaked out and remove them all, good thing though is all the features seem be off for all of them. Still I want to understand more about this 'Internet Account' function and what it can do to my apps. So here are my questions:

1. In general, if the internet account is added, what can they do to my Mac?
2. If an account is added to internet account section, and setting for notes is turned on, can that account access my notes? What if the setting is turned off?

Adding an internet account does not give that account access to your mac but gives you access to the account.
If it has notes or email or calendar etc on it means that YOU on your mac can see the notes from that account or the calendar and or receive emails.

When all settings are turned off/inactive everything that is related to that account will not show but it still allows you to turn it back on. Once removed it is simply gone and if you want it back you would have to add it manually again.

I'm not sure why you would ever have an IT persons account on your private machine or even ever hand your computer to an employer unless it was your work account that the IT person added and/or if the machine was your employers and you were given it when you left (or you purchased it).

Of course there could be other software on there that was installed by IT of your former employer.
