opened my finder today and saw a server in my shared sidebar
tried closing it, but said it was being used and couldn't be turned off
restarted and haven't seen it since
anyone have an idea how or why it got made?
only thing always on my shared is an external hd that has a virtual drive
all my apps/installations from known developers
only thing our of the ordinary that happened today was colloquy updated itself
that's all i can think of
any help is appreciated. thanks

Check System Preferences -> Accounts -> Login Items. Make sure you don't have a server trying to connect at login.
