Hi,
I have the istat widget installed, and I have noticed that under the processes section there is always an unnamed process which normally registers at about about 14%. The icon is a black square, with four smaller white dots or something in the box, one in each of the 4 quadrants.
Anyone know what this is?

Here it is.. it happens to be on the top at the moment.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's just the dashboard widget icon

Wow, three instantaneous posts in a row all in agreement, we macrumors people are awesome!

haha great!
So, it is just a widget/all of the widgets maybe..
So with that icon and the 'WindowSer.." --which another thread claimed is affiliated with the widgets-- the widgets are the things taxing my MB the most.
Kind of funny.

You can tell iStat not to show widgets in the top process list.

Interesting, I did that and "windowser.." still shows up- anyone know definitively what this is?
