Unlikely refurb options?

Hey,

I've been watching the UK refurb store, waiting for the elusive Oct 2013 13" rMBP to show up.

Ideally I'd like a 2.4GHz CPU, 16GB Ram and 256 SSD model. However, as this doesn't represent one of the default options within the http://store.apple.com/uk/buy-mac/macbook-pro site I was wondering if I'm wasting my time?

Do slightly quirkier spec models come up from time to time on the refurb store? I checked the US store but didn't see much along these lines.

Yes. They have posted a ton of models both Monday and Tuesday of this week in the US refurb store and they all sold out each day. There were numerous BTO configurations to choose from. You have to catch them fast though as they sell quickly.
