Lets start some conspiracy with the way carriers will react in the future years with LTE technologies. I'd imagine carriers will offer unlimited data with LTE at a certain point when the back-haul and infrastructure is here. Cellular data plans would be priced very similar to how household internet is priced.
$15 for unlimited data at 3Mbps/1Mbps.
$25 for unlimited data at 5Mbps/2Mbps.
$35 for unlimited data at 10Mbps/5Mbps.
$45 for unlimited data at 15Mbps/10Mbps.
$55 for unlimited data at 30Mbps/15Mbps.
Now as LTE gradually improves over the coming years these speeds would change although I'd bet that the prices would remain the same.
