Anybody here have grandfathered unlimited data on Verizon and switch from Android to iPhone? Were you able to keep your unlimited data when you switched to iPhone?

I know that sometimes Android and iPhone have different data plans, and I am wondering if Verizon uses that as an opportunity to try to force people out of their unlimited data?

Thanks.

As long as you pay full retail for your iPhone, then you should be able to keep your unlimited data on Verizon. Keep in mind that you may run into more than one Verizon rep who has no idea that keeping unlimited data is still possible--and may try to convince you that you have to switch to a tiered plan. If that happens, be persistent and talk to a manager or even a technical rep.

They can be very aggressive about trying to convince you to give up unlimited.
