So will people with Verizon's Unlimited data choice get grandfathered in or will they have to chose a new plan?

Well as long as you keep your current phone you will be grandfathered. There seems to be some debate over whether you will keep the unlimited plan if you get a new phone at a subsidized price. I would think you would keep your unlimited, just like AT&T does, but I am not very familiar with Verizon's policies.

Im not sure if I really trust Verizon to grandfather someones unlimited data once they try to get another subsidized phone in 2 years.

Att has already shown that they will grandfather PLUS Att has also shown they aren't greedy bastards like Verizon is by at least offering $25 and $15 data plans ;)

Okay thanks I got my iPhone maybe 2 months ago so I think I have some time with unlimited :D

That's true hopefully I'll get grandfathered In and in 2 years, I'll worry about it then ;)

Edit: I like Verizon and ive always had them so I trust them.

Yea AT&T's plans don't seem so bad anymore. AT&T offered a cheaper option, while Verizon just kept the same price and went higher. Now if Verizon let's you keep that unlimited plan for as long as you are a customer, including phone upgrades, that would do a lot to retain customers.
