Unlimited Free Text Messaging w/iPhone?

I bought a 10 minute pre-paid T-Mobile sim card just to see how the service is with an unlocked iPhone & T-mobile prepaid. Anyways I have run out of minutes, but I can still send and receive text messages...am I missing something or does pre-paid allow you free unlimited text messaging?

Hmm...I'll have to check but I think they needed info for activation...but this is prepaid so idk how they can come up billing me? Only time will tell I guess. If anyone else knows...please post.
