All iPads Unlimited iPad 1 to iPad mini w/retina

I still have an old iPad 1 that I'm not using much because I have an iPad 3. I am getting the new iPad mini, and I'm still debating whether or not to use my unlimited 3G ATT plan on it or to purchase the Verizon iPad mini. If I choose to upgrade using the unlimited ATT plan, will it remain unlimited, but add unlimited LTE/4G?

Ummmm, no. You can transfer your unlimited AT&T plan to your new iPad. I still have mine. I transferred from the 1 to the 2 to the 3 to the Mini to the Air 64GB to the Air 128GB. Just go to Settings, Cellular, and log on with your AT&T account info. Your AT&T iPad Air will already come with a nano SIM installed, so all you need to do is log on, it will recognize you, it will associate the new SIM with your account, and voila!

i have an unlimited plan with my iPad 3 that I moved from my iPad 1..when the Retina Mini comes out I fully expect to be able to move it to my new retina mini.
